The Wear-Leveling

Three Layer Wear Leveling(Static/dynamic/active) Ensures the MemoRight eSSD¡¯s Balanced-Level Condition at any time;
MemoRight drives use three layers of wear-leveling method, Dynamic, Static and Active, to ensure the whole drive in most balanced utilization condition all the time in order to have better endurance. |
1. Dynamic - For each write always write into new block and previous block will be erased as a new block.
2. Static - After certain numbers or write, the idle block data will be moved to the new block and the idle block will be used as a new block.
3. Active - Through the LBA mapping and the even spread address to the flash channels, rows and layers to ensure all flash chips are in even utilization status |
